$99, and if you go to their News section their Design bundle seems to be on sale as well, which is good as they're all amazing plugins. Adaptiverb, Morph 2 and Wormhole 2.

Pitchmap::Colors is $35 for folks who own Pitchmap already but you have to email them. They responded to my email for a discount code in about 2 minutes.

Completely aside from the advertised function of transforming audio into a specified scale or changing a minor chord to a M7 or whatnot, which is very useful and interesting, I was surprised to see that the Colors version also still works as a formant-shifter with the ability to bypass transients. If you preserve transients the resulting sound will still be identified by our brains as the original sound (anyone remember the quacking banjo from I think TERA VST?)

Honestly, if you can afford the original Pitchmap just get that while it's on sale. I've been having a lot of fun with Orange Vocoder 4 recently, and own all of their VSTs except Intensity which I happen to have no interest in. Even their Unchirp is a legitimately mind-blowing sound design tool and the only reason I didn't own them since they were released is they don't often have sales.

Thanks for the update info!

Does Unchirp still outperform the current competition of Soothe and the likes in terms of unique capabilities?

What's your take of the Colors version so far? Do all 3 algorithms have that "pitchmapy" color to them to varying degrees, or is there one completely without it?

can i also have e.g. a vocal sample where i dunno the scale/pitch and let it re-pitch to my scale?

I havent delved into the product details yet. Thought I'd ask though, what does Pitchmap::Colors bring to the table that Pitchmap doesnt?

looking at the pricing and the spokesman, I'm pretty sure this was meant to be a simplified stripped down version of pitchmap dedicated to the use case it went viral for amongst influencers,... because virtual riot and the like cosigned it for the one trick pony gimmick that apparently makes something "color bass"...zynaptiq is probably hoping at that price point it becomes a gateway drug to the rest of their product offering for a demographic that they previously were not popular to...i don't think it was made to be able to do something pitchmap cant
Music had a one night stand with sound design.....And the condom broke

yes, that seems about right to me - I might find a use for it but perhaps not - quite possibly it will be good for dialing in a couple of quick effects, the transient section seems slightly different or at least I can get a transient sound in colours that I struggle to get with the full version

EDIT : actually I take all that back - this allows for some sounds that I would not get with PITCHMAP - maybe it is just the way of working but using the transient feature is giving me quite different sounds. Feeding SonicLabs Oceanic through COLORS is giving me a very nice cello style sound that I would never have got using PITCHMAP. Vewry pleased I made the purchase

Didn’t notice this invisible thread earlier and made my own (Colors/Nano), here are my thoughs as a owner of 3 Zynaptiq plugins:

In the first look a good offer.

But at the second glance, not so.

Aa a owner of the Pitchmap, where is the crosscrade offer?

And - only 1 (!) installation per license.

Not so good.

Thank you for the hint.
I hate these ”secret offers”, these things should be tranparent, not occultism.

Don’t you read the threads before your bursts?

In that simply f***ing way that I own the Pitchmap and didn’t get any offer.
Nor is there any mention in the Zynaptiq ad mail of the pricing.

Sounda pretty much occultism to me.

I got two emails with offers - maybe they didnt send one to you because your antagonistic sense of privilege disgusts them. Or maybe it was just a mistake and you could email them. Or just never buy anything they make ever again and stick your lip out in a little pout and stamp your feet.

I'm not sure I see the point of Colours if you already have the full Pitchmap? Also not sure why they are charging Pitchmap owners anything tbh. It does say if you buy Colours you get Orange Nano 'free' but that seems to be only if you buy it in a bundle where you can't use the 'crossgrade' price for Colours, so I would have gone for that just for nano but not now
