I plugged it in a cheap guitar amp, lot of fun and it offers nice variations in tone.

OK, thanks
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been quite busy. Just check with mine and the two ‘A’s it has are pretty much at 220 Hz and 110 Hz which means that it is tuned at A 440 Hz. This is when blowing steadily and strongly. Of course it’s very easy to modulate the pitch depending on how one blows in a melodica, thus sounding a bit lower or higher. That’s a great part of the charm of melodicas.bes_j wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 3:02 am Quite interesting! By the way, I've heard some rumours that there are some tuning issues with this model (A 442 Hz instead of 440, or something like this) - is it true?
