Hi KVR forum.
A new plugin I designed for streaky studios has been released 2 weeks now. I have read a lot of the comments on YouTube and it's getting some love and hate the same time, especially considering the hefty price. Nevertheless, I'm the VST designer (vstdesigns.com) of this plugin, and the idea was Streaky's. So What are your thoughts on this EQ plugin?

He sure looks shocked on the thumbnail, so I guess if one wants to be shocked it's not what you think the secret the pros use to sound like Miley Cyrus, then a plugin with bright colours might be worth it. Skepticism aside, that video didn't seem to explain much.

In the comments section someone checked what it's doing in plugin doctor, and it's just applying primitive/generic EQ adjustments.
I've gotten the impression in recent months that YouTube is so saturated with clickbait garbage, the signal to noise ration has really dropped off. But that makes sense, because when the barriers to entry are removed and a pool of knowledge isn't copyrighted, there's a strong incentive to try to make money by re-presenting the same basic concepts. Quickly that market becomes saturated and channels then have to ramp up the clickbait strategies to fight for views. Having secured subscribers the next logical step is to try to leverage the brand by releasing plugins which a naive audience might seduced by.
Those GUIs look decent though.
