what's up with sync in sampletank

I've set my bpm in samplitude to 112. When I record a loop track and I have sync turned on in sampletank, the timing is doubled. What's going on here and how can I make it actually play in time rather than double? Thanks.

In the synth section you can adjust the pitch of the instrument or the zone. just set the pitch to -12.

If you're using the full ST2 engine (not ST2LE), you can try TSPS or STRETCH for different sounds.
