Current vs Avenger 2

i always laugh at the this versus that threads, yet.... here i am.

looking for a new 'main' plugin for 2024, and contemplating Current (running the demo now). but a collab mentioned that Avenger 2 drops 24 november, and wondering what ppl think about both.

i don't need bread-&butter sounds, i want something adventurous, modern... deep. Current is pretty amazing so far, but Avenger 2 looks equally promising.

so... thoughts? just want opinions, ideas. then will figure it out

Silly question 101, your current demo lasts 30 days, beyond the 24th November.. only Manuel, Rene, sound designers and Beta testers would have any idea of what Avenger 2 is like, wouldn't it make more sense to ask this question or at the very least wait until it has been released to make such a decision?

i WILL continue to play with current, and, IF there's an avenger 2 demo, will check that out. just wondering what others here thought. what was i thinking?

But of course I think Avenger 2 which I have never played with only heard a few demos is great, the greatest synth ever...

i actually gave up my roli lumi, and am back to a cme xkey37, so... no MPE (but poly aftertouch)...

otherwise, will figure it out

I‘d say Zebra 3 in every case!

Avenger is adventurous, modern, deep and it can be whatever you want it to be by experimenting with or using almost endless features to create new sounds plus the best quality of effects I know plus you can use it as a drum sampler only.
Imo no other synths offers so many options with a versatility you can use for any kind of music genre with highest quality, although at first glance it looks like a synth for edm only, you can use it for almost everything, though.
This synth is a dream come true.
V2 will make the best synth ever even better imo
