KURZWEIL K2700 USB-A (Storage USB) and standard 5 pin MIDI port connections functionality

Hi! Is it possible to connect two MIDI controllers at the same time (one USB MIDI controller via USB-A/Storage USB input and the other MIDI controller via standard 5 pin MIDI port input) so that both are active at the same time and both can trigger sounds of the current drum program in sequencer track? For example I would like to trigger two bass drum samples with my USB MIDI foot controller connected to the USB-A/Storage USB MIDI port and at the same time play the other drum samples with hands on pad MIDI controller connected to 5 pin MIDI port.
