Great question 🤔
software is a tool that allows us to complete a given task.
social media is full of tools that distract us from a given task.

Between some of the recent-ish posts on KVR and Gearspace, I’m honestly starting to wonder if these “too dumb to be an actual question” Topics are nothing but seeds to produce data for AI to scrap or something along those lines lol.

Like there’s gotta be some rhyme and/or reason behind them.

I'm afraid reverb is too computationally intensive for the current generation of computers (unless you happen to run your DAW on an IBM 360 mainframe).

As a workaround, most of us record our mixes in a large, tiled bathroom to create lush, reverberant mixes. Expert producers flush the toilet to add chorus and other spatial effects during bathroom mixdowns.

Or place entire orchestras on open fields and in dense forests to capture dry spaces and early reflections.

No, there aren’t many reverb plugins. This is an area where development is still lacking. There are only 2 or 3 reverb plugins altogether but they are very bad attempts. They make your music sound like an mp3 from 2001.

The only way is the hard way. You need to unsubscribe from the forum (do it now, do now) and buy a real reverb. A 480l is only around 4-6k and it’s Black Friday. That’s the only reverb that won’t make your music sound like mp3 from 2001. Go now and buy it, there is no other option I’m afraid.

My advice: start a thread called "Are there any reverb plugins" and you might get some comments but doubt it, no one talks about reverb here.

It seems that reverb is the new cowbell but there’s no reverb that could replace a good and decent cowbell.

All reverbs have been banned now 🌞
No auto tune...

1. For that price?! I highly doubt it.

2. Recent global government policy has banned any audio trickery like reverbs so we now have to find the spaces and record in them. You aren't even allowed to play back recorded material in these spaces, live performances only!

3. Be careful with software reverbs, they have a habit of becoming a bit too 'zingy' and overly 'audible' after a lot of use. I'd probably just buy a new one every week or two to keep my reverbs sounding as fresh as a daisy. Reinstalling or deleting preference files doesn't help, in fact I think it makes them worse.

Find my own spaces to record in? WTF!
