Hello, please help me find the holy grail of reverbs and echo chambers. How can I make my music drown in echoes?

Coconuts make excellent percussion.Choikdoi wrote: Sat Nov 25, 2023 3:58 amIt doesn't, you fool. The coconut was carried into the cave on a strand of creeper, held under the dorsal guiding feathers, by two African Swallows.

This would totally depend on the type of cave we are talking about. A water filled cenote vs a lava formed cave vs a glacial cave will produce wildly different reverb effects. So this is some important info we need before we can truly help you.

Are you suggesting that coconuts are just bad seeds?

Don't cave in to the modern sound. You know, I worked at the hotel Robert Johnson recorded his infamous record at and I've been in that room and the reason he faced the wall is there is a perfect little niche in that part of the room that reflects sound.

You need to learn cave diving and play your music while you're diving in the cave and then record it with a hydrophone

Fluke gives me LSD flashbacks whenever I hear Groovy Feeling. (I paid $12 for the import single in 1993) I have never heard it in a cave, but a massive club much like the scene pictured, but with everyone much better dressed.
