I'm thinking of getting a general SFX collection and was considering either Red Box or Blue Box from Best Service.
Is one better than the other? Are they the same samples with a different organization?
Thanks for any comments or alternative suggestions for around the same price (US$300) ...

that's good to hearfitch wrote:i have "best of blue box" and i love it..
I ended up finding and ordering the DVD Studio Box which contains both Red and Blue, plus Black Box (science-fictional sounds) ... luckily there was a 30% discount, which brought it pretty close to what I meant to spend
thanks for the other link as well

Fitch, I ordered it through www.midi-classics.com
or try www.soundsonline.com (both in the USA)
it's the 30% East-West Hallowe'en discount, which I believe ends TODAY (maybe there's a distributor over there offering the same discount?)
even if the site says "discount is available on in-stock items only", add it to the cart anyway and see whether you can still get the good price on a backorder [soundsonline promo code is: SPOOKY]
