Special Rules Used This Month:

1. Wavetables use: Wavetables are allowed, but imported tables should not be used for straight sample playback, i.e. to replicate recorded instruments or vocal phrases directly, but rather to synthesise, morph and mangle single cycle waveforms.
2. Sampler use: Use of the Sampler is not allowed for this challenge.
3. Commercial Plugins use: Commercial plugins are allowed for this challenge - all other usual limitations apply.

Vaporizer 2 is a free open-source software synthesizer for Mac and Windows. with 2 wavetable oscillators plus noise and sub, with filter, 3 lfos, 3 envelopes, along with Gate, distortion, delay, reverb and chorus effects, and MPE implementation, this is highly versatile and capable of great sounds!

I would say that's an accurate reading of the rules, given the 'all other restrictions apply' part.

Last month we were allowed to 'go to 11' with free plugins, but while commercial plugins were allowed, they were subject to the usual restrictions.

It seems not, and I'm guessing it would take some work to get it compiling for Apple Silicon due to its reliance on either AVX or SSE2.

"3.5.2 Sampler Section

Vaporizer2 offers a sampler that is mainly intended to be used to accompany presets with
specific attack or background sounds."

Some factory presets use Sampler. Turn off Sampler for these, if used?

When I opened Vaporizer in Bitwig and used the lfo to modulate the pitch, there was a bug where the keys or notes became out of tune. Also, in Renoise, Vaporizer will play chords for some reason, even in mono mode.
