BitFuzzer/Modalics - Free until Jan 1st

Hey all.

We got a new plugin out called BitFuzzer. It's a combo of a bitcrusher with a fuzz, as well as resonant filter and an EQ. It can make some pretty neat sounds and can oversample up to 8x.

And - we're giving it for free until the end of the month (So until Jan 1st, 2024).

Thank you for releasing this for free. I have plenty of bit crushers and LoFi degradation effects already, but I decided to try it because I’m always on the lookout for interesting ways to spice up and color my audio.

Bitfuzzer has a pleasant resonant filter and the plug-in sounds really cool when processing synth bass courtesy of NI’s Razor. It also pairs well with synthesized percussion loops. Thanks again!!

Would you mind letting me know which OS/DAW you're using?
On the Mac version of EffectGrid with Ableton Live I do see BitFuzzer loading, but there could be some more involved compatibility issue here:

Thank you! While I'm investigating this, is the VST3 loading without EffectGrid in BitWig? (It does load correctly for me in Windows).

If not, it's possible the installation was somehow corrupt, I would recommend exiting BitWig before installing.

If this is another issue of being compatible only with EffectGrid in Bitwig, I will try to get the bottom of this and already messaged the EG dev in hopes they could help.

I just tried Cubase12, BitFuzzer "failed to load correctly" in Effect Grid.

I've reached out to Alexis, the Effects Grid developer. He was very kind and hopefully we can all get to the bottom of this issue soon.

15 out of OVER 484 for me (484 = counting only vst3); only the 9 bolded ones matter (including discontinued stuff):

- Rift
- Portal, Movement
- Morph EQ
- MF-102S (every other Moogerfooger works)
- Enso
- Autochroma
- Trash, Breaktweaker (discontinued)
- UAD (unsurprisingly)
- SWAM (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- Thermal (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- SINE Player (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- RX1200 (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- Philharmonik (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- Chordjam (irrelevant in current implementation of Effect Grid, as it's a vsti)
- Vision 4x (hard to think of a use case though)
