Hey everyone, long time since I posted, but I am a little at the end here - I'm not sure if there is a designated forum for Korg Keyboards or not, I couldn't find one, so apologies if I missed it.

I bought a Kronos 2 new in 2019, and think that I may have a memory issue. I cannot glean any information from Korg as to what memory to buy, can't find any online, and don't know if there are similar 'after market' memory sticks that will work as well...

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks a bundle,
~G

DDR3 PC3 RAM. I maxed out both my Kronos and Kronos 2 and expanded the SSDs in both to 200gb per drive. Real easy to do. And for the record, simply Google "Korg Kronos 2 RAM"...I just did and got several pages along with ads that target the exact ram you need for the upgrade.

Yeah, this is a hardware thing and you've posted under software...
But as a Kronos owner myself, I can tell you that the RAM sometimes need to be reseated. Try that first.

Thank you @JonSolo and @BBFG#, appreciate the insights and I'm not sure why I was coming up so dry on the search. I did do the search and the ones that I have seen are all out of stock and don't seem to sell it anymore. However, If it's just DDR3 PC3 RAM that works, I think that opens up my options more. Thanks again, and much appreciated!

Before shelling out for new RAM, do try the "reseating" procedure first. That is simply taking it out and insert it again.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

beside reaseating the RAM,
the Kronos is also known for, that power spikes that hit the Kronos can kill the RAM !

Happened to me.
btw. there is a Korg Forum. And there are threads on that matter
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.
