Corona is missing.

Post

Thank you. Will listen. Needs JP-8000 to compare against, or at least the Virus emulator.

We've got Corona well-represented on our channels. It'd be great to see your take on it in the comparison for a full picture.

Corona's precision in its JP-8000 super saw is undeniable, overlooking it is a significant oversight.

It's just a bit of fun. There are several synths missing, it's hardly a significant oversight.
How original

I don't have a synthesizer like that, so let's ask Master Aiyn Zahev to demo it a bit. I was curious about it
Corona is a welcome step forward in virtual analog emulation from DiscoDSP. The filters are extremely analog sounding and there an abundance of options for creating sounds. It's manages to keep everything very neatly organized, which all combines to make it a fantastic synth to work on.

Solarscape came out because I was very impressed with Corona, and not because it was a popular synth (because it wasn't and is still fairly under the radar). I finally created 128 sounds which squarely fit into dance music styles. I sincerely hope you enjoy using these as much as I enjoyed creating them!

this guy took the time and also uploaded a project file and people here are rambling... do your own tests or get the project file (and the DAW) and enhance the test.

thanks a lot for the comparison!

The best soft synths for supersaws that I own: Spire, Sylenth1, Osirus (DSP563xx emulator), Charlatan 2 (surprise, surprise).

I go 99% of cases with Spire. ;)

Interesting video! Thanks for it. What about MSoundFactory? It has various options for unison, on osc level and also as macro module. Bitwig with its new unison options would be interesting, too :)
