Scaler 2 is the most confusing plugin I have ever used

Trying to use a bass sequence from Scaler 2
Just clicking anything that says bass because the SCaler menus are just way over my limited brain span.
So I choose a rock sequence from the bass section, hit the scaler kb and it plays the sequence which I have routed to Mojo Bass.
So I use the same note in Cubase and it just plays the one note, argh.
Then I see the Scaler 2 pattern thingy at the bottom and think I should move the bass sequence to a pattern but I have no clue how too.
Every time I open this plugin ,I get a severe headache.
Just no intuitive to me at all.
If you are SUPER BRAINY,yes it's great but for me,It's overwhelming and I have watched multitudes of you tube tuts on Scaler 2 but the plug in just does not work for me on a conscious level.
Everything is so confusing.
Was thinking of just maybe using the sequencer in Sampletank 4.
At least I know what I'm doing in that.
P.S. I think Mojo Bass 2 has a built in sequencer but a bit pricey at the moment sigh.
Scaler 2,I never use it.
The headaches come on as soon as I look at the GUI.
Now Scaler 2 is not playing the sequence at all.
Probably pressed a button I don't know about.
Are there plugins that deal with bass line sequencers that I can route to an instrument besides the impossible Scaler 2?

Mixed in key still has a 50% sale with the 'HOLIDAYS'
look at:
Captain Epic
Pilot (?)
If you're not into house/techno, maybe the Pop Foundation is best suited?
I'm beginner at these 'scale apps', can't really advice more. But both Captain and pilot should be quite a bit more easy to grasp, Captain being the bigger brother of Pilot.
I bought Captain yesterday. Haven't used yet

Scaler 2 is buggy.
Sometimes it plays the bass sequence and other times there is silence if you adjust to another sequence.
The Bass Pop sequence 6 does not play in Cubase.
I have Scaler set to an instrument channel and my midi KB as the input and another Instrument Channel set with Scaler's output as the midi input and Mojo Bass as the output.
Now when I make a 1 bar midi note in Cubase, there is no sound.
So I decided to play the bass sequence by pressing play at the bottom left and record to capture the midi.
Then the drag icon appears.
When I try to drag the midi in,there is a red circle with a cross over it ,Cubase telling me I can't drag Scalers midi sequence into the track.
WTF??????
Everytime I use Scaler,I cop this crap.
Hate it.
It's so unintuitive.
Will save up for Mojo Bass 2 and use it's built in sequencer and use Cubase chord pads and other tools for chord ideas.
Scaler is just a mindfuck.
P.S. A lightbulb went up in my mind.
Is it because Cubase is set at 96k I am having these issues?
Going to set back to 48k and try again.
My Audient sound card has these random little crackles every now and again which pee me off too.
Dam,need a Fireface sigh.
The midi capture of Scaler, does not capture all the notes played after dragging in (I worked that out by dragging into a Cubase track, not inside the midi item lol duh)
Just a mess to work with Scaler 2.
And what on Earth does "Bind incoming midi notes to chord triggers" do????
Way too many frills that just getting a simple sequence from a bass is a chore.

The Midi capture is broken in Scaler 2.
The Bass rhythm is {1 e and} {2 e and} {and} {4 e and}.
So I capture it and then drag into Cubase as a midi item.
What Cubase plays is just the ands of each beat.
WTF?????

Scaler 2 works fine here. No problems at all. MIDI capture works fine for me, keybinding works like a charme. Tbh I don’t understand the majority of your post about Scaler2.
If it’s buggy for you then get in contact with the support. And Scaler 2 has it’s own forum.
Maybe you should ask your questions there:

That's right, Scaler 2 is a bit confusing and the structure often seems illogical. Without watching a few videos, you won't get any further here. But it can be really useful e.g. to find parallel keys that fit (with this circle of fifths) including suggestions how to change from the current key to this key. However, the idea of using the other modules to generate melody, bass etc. at the same time did not convince me.
The alternative would be Captain Chords... much easier to use but also (IMO!) much less helpful. Scaler is better once you understand how it works.

Given your previous posts and comments, you seem to be struggling with all the most basic tasks. Perhaps software and computers just aren't your thing? Maybe the main issue here isn't everyone and everything else?

I stand by my words.
This plugin is so unintuitive.\
It's the different confusing menus all bunched togther at the top.
How do you press a key to play chords and then use the right hand to play the melody of that chord?
Pretty much hit every menu tab and this option refuses to show up.
I never use Scaler 2 because the GUI is a mess.
I could use Chord Pads in Cubase!!!
Get there in a quarter of the time without rummaging around in Scalers confusing menu.
