In 2023, my solution to gear hoarding was to only buy things that fit in a drawer. That way, as soon as I was done with it, out of sight, out of mind.

(obviously I’m fibbing but it mostly worked out this way)

I don't think that you can anymore. Things have changed; today you have to visit the country and do things the old fashioned way.
