Will Tim Carroll’s role as president of the MIDI Association make for a more effective adoption of the protocols and standards pushed by several organizations in our space? One would hope.

Sounds like there’s little coverage of this new nomination. Sound on Sound has a proper piece on it. Others are factually wrong (for instance, a few sites describe MIDI as 50 years old).
