Having finally got round to getting a dvd-a/sacd player I'm sitting listening to my first dvd-a. Lee perry anthology - now I know these songs pretty well (well most of them)

and i am amazed at how much clearer these updates are - i can hear everything that was recorded on the shitty equipment that mr perry used

anyway cd is dead - or at least it should be

and some people say that unless you ahve the highest quality gear you wont hear the difference - well Im very confident that all of these lee perry things were recorded using the equivalent of behringer

so repeat after me "if your a big tree we are a small axe"
