I skipped the first question. Perhaps someone else can answer that one better. I don't use V-Stack. I do use Xlutop Chainer though. www.xlutop.com (it's free- the demo version which is functional- so check it out and check out Sonik Synth 2 special free version here: www.ikmultimedia.com/keyboardss2.html )

Q: ok i just have some qestons about plug ins such as sampletank soniksynth and studiophonik... i plan on buying sampletank --soniksynth---studiophonik my qeston is will i need sample tank if i buy studiophonik?

A: Need SampleTank or WANT SampleTank? You won't need it to be able to play Studiophonik because it has its own engine and interface. However, if you are getting Sonik Synth and Studiophonik then it is nice to have SampleTank 2 XL as well for the increased functionality and ability to run all of the sounds under one interface (good for say combining together in layers or using up less processing etc.).

Q: another qeston is how good is sample tank at guitar note bending?

A: It is very good at note bending in a variety of different ways from at the sample level stuff it has to stretch to just assigning the pitch bender... then there's the fx to run those bends through which make a big difference.

Q: or should i just get steinberg virtual guitarist i want to do like R- kelly guitar bends and shifts
i don't know how to explain it but far as guitars whats better steinberg virtual guitarist or sampletank?

A: The two are very different. Virtual Guitarist is more for predone loops and less for playing parts yourself. SampleTank 2 is ideal for writing where you can do whatever you want and also the built in fx are unmatched for guitar (because it has most of AmpliTube built into it!). You may still like Virtual Guitarist. It all depends on how you like to do guitar parts. I think for "R-kelley guitar bends" SampleTank 2 is probably the more appropriate choice. But, I am not an R-Kelly guitar bending expert.

Hope that helps!

ehternine,

On the second page of the SR Audio Demo Thread of this forum, I posted a song that I made using ST2 and SS2 Free, While the song is no great shakes, the second 32 bars features a Sampletank 2 guitar with bends. May or may not help you in your decision but what the heck.
