PSP Appreciation and Old Plugins Can Be Just Fine

PSP's plugins have been really useful to me the last year. Their plugins caught my eye after enjoying their modules in Voltage Modular, but I assumed that newer plugins must have bested their mixing plugins by now. Wrong!
I had a somewhat tricky master recently and found using two limiters necessary to get the sense of loudness I was looking for. I recalled that PSP Xenon used a two-stage limiter so I got the trial and, sure enough, it worked great. OldTimerME is also fantastic.
Anyone else utilizing PSP and loving them? Their stuff is very usable. Not sure why I assumed that everything newer in software must be an improvement... their work is worth checking out. Xenon came out in, what, 2008?

I've been using PSP regularily for almost 10 years. Top quality for the most part. I am glad they are doing ongoing updates. One of their EQs is a sleeper gem for me Since I have most of their products I am finding it a challenge to do the updates manually all the time. I asked if they are going to make a software portal and they said they are. Good!

I've been using VW during years at the master track ...only recently surpassed by newfangled elevate, ...also some mix pack units to enhance contour mixtrebble and mix saturator

I rarely use PSP stuff, but I also really enjoy some old code sometimes.
Quadrafuzz is still an amazing plugin for example.

I still frequently use Vintage Warmer. It's familiar and easy to get good results.

That free delay they put out can do some very nice things.

Some of their plugins are come and go in my template, but VW hasn't left my master bus in 13 years.

VintageWarmer is all I have but it's great. I still use the V1 and microwarmer with lower latencies than the V2. Just missing the Fat toggle which doesn't bother me, Sounds great without it.

I still use Vintage Warmer when anyone wants anything more distorted. Fat On / Off changes the depth depending on what you want with the track. Multi and single band modes sound wholly different.
The new versions of the Lexicon delays are awesome.
