Inspired by the la2a thread, wanted to know your opinions on the Opal compressor by uvi. Looks quite promising with all its features.

There are LA2A emulations that have the aliasing problem resolved (TrackComp 2 for instance), but sadly that’s not the case with Opal.

what is the aliasing problem and how do you know Opal has it and those other ones don't?

Aliasing in audio can be diagnosed by analyzing frequency content using spectral analysis tools like those present in iZotope RX, Acon Digital Acoustica, observing unexpected artifacts or distortion in the audio signal, or by using specialized software like Plugindoctor designed to detect and diagnose aliasing issues.
If you’re in doubt feel free to analyze the plugin for aliasing yourself.
