Wasn’t impressed with autotune x (still using autotune pro). Who wants to take one for the team and say their thoughts on this harmony system

Not an autotune user myself , but is this really the only program they are selling ?
Back in the day (early 2000's )they had Kantos , Filter , Tube , a microphone modeller and then some vocal harmony in 2010 etc...
Nowadays they are just cashing in on 1 product only , how do they survive ?
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Kantos was so cool and unique when it came out but they abandoned it pretty quickly. I kept a computer that could boot up OS9 for a long time just to use that and Opcode Studio Vision. But that computer finally died.

They still have many of those products. A majority of their products are either updates of their prior tech or iterations on it. Harmony Engine, Warm, Punch, Aspire, Mutator, etc. And they have new products as well of which Vocodist is a standout.

Their pricing is one step removed from Slate's in terms of encouraging their subscription. As always it puts people who own a lot of their products in an odd spot value-wise.

I think their plugins offer unique value and sound great, but their testing, updating, and licensing seems like a real mess since they got new ownership. Thankfully their support has gotten a lot better recently in my opinion. My ticket response time went from many weeks to 2 business days, and it's no longer just copy pasted forms.

so what's supposed to be the improvement from X to 11?
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Post

The only real difference I see is the addition of the harmony section. Not much else.
