Known for their M4L devices, this is their first plugin. It is pretty damn amazing!

Mac only? That's sad, I would really like to try this.

this may be a swing and a miss when comparing to things like prism or kaivo. Ok, it's got granular for the impulses and a fair degree of control by the looks of it. But real-time control? you got lfos. no mention of midi mapping or even automation in the manual. just lfos.

Frankly I just didn't think I had to even mention automation or MIDI mapping in the manual – to me that's sort of a given for a plugin. It exposes every single parameter accurately within the DAW so you can automate and/or MIDI map. :–)gaggle of hermits wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2024 4:23 pm this may be a swing and a miss when comparing to things like prism or kaivo. At $59, this is a no brainer. This sounds better than a a lot of hardware and simply smokes a ton of VSTs. Comparison is the thief of joy, but I'd be happy if more makers took notes from Fors. It would raise the bar across the board.

What a massive bummer it’s Mac only. Was ready to jump on it immediately (doubly so when I saw the CLAP support), but felt the sting of the cold shower seeing ”MacOS” as a requirement…

Perfect excuse to grab an M1 Mini. Cheaper than jumping into the Elektron ecosystem

Looks amazing! I feel for the Windows people, but don't worry you have Charlatan instead
