but you get....... deat detective LE.... ooooo... beat detective... with it's not-quite-as-accurate-even-the-worst-beat-detection-engine-on-the-market beat detection. but seriously, beat detective is great for those times when, say, you want to generate 1000 regions in your playlist for no reason whatsoever. blah.
EDIT: argh... Beat detective even... damn typos.

A lot of Pro-tools snobbery!
Actually, there's a lot of Logic snobbery!
Come to think of it, there's just a lot of snobbery everytime anything to do with a new host/update comes out!

well, as some customers, like the music university I'm studying at, have spent over 20 000$ on a PT system a 75$ upgrade fee doesn't really look like that much now does it? However, I do see your point..multree wrote:are they kidding me.... that's a friggin maintainance update and they're charging $75 ?????

Hi Mully
your ProTools box... does it work ok with your other sequencer?
I need to get PT .. am thinking about the 002
but i love Logic and would still like to carry on using it for all my midi orchestrations..
if Logic will work fine on 002 ... or the Mbox
i'll get one

how does Pro Tools Le compare to Sonar or Cubase SX?
I currently use FL Studio but was wondering what is so good about pro tools????
I make hip hop music and always hear how good pro tools is, however, it is so expensive and needs the hardware.
how does Le rank compared to the other major hosts?
