Hi
I was wondering what you all think about the Celeron N3350 CPU.
Do you think it can handle Antares harmony engine and the Autotune if
it is loaded with reaper?

My purpose is to use it as a Live Karaoke voice effects processor.
Currently the N3350 micro pc is going for less than $100 USD
with 6gb ram and 64G EMMC and windows 10.

What do you all think?

Seems a dual core 1.1 GHz (base freq) cpu.

If you can try it and return it with no questions asked, what can you lose?

Hi ,
I live in Asia, cannot return.. Of course I can opt for N5105 but that box is much thicker..
I am planning to make an "effects box" by gluing this mini pc to the back of a HDMI touch screen.

The Celeron N3350 is from 2016. I wouldn't buy it.

The N5105 is much stronger and should be good for simple Tasks.

I generally advise against the decaf CPUs that Intel puts out and gives special names to - like Celeron.

Very crippled.

In fact some of the smaller CPU's are the most efficient Desktop CPU's on the market. I'm using a N6005 Pentium ( NUC ) for my daily browsing that is consuming around 10 Watt and has a absolutely usable score.

The only problem that I noticed is that Mini PC manufacturers are sometimes throttling the CPU or not paying enough attention to cooling. It makes no sense to have a stronger CPU that can't use its full potential because of a weak cooling solution.
