Computer showing as 2 machine IDs to one Plugin Mfg.

Plugin Alliance plugins all activate under a machine ID, but 1-2 weeks later, they all ask to reactivated, and then use a second license. PA account page shows same machine name with 2 different machine IDs after second activation.

I have reached out to PA support a few times, and they ask me to delete my license file and try again, but the same situation keeps presenting itself. I've opened yet another ticket, but haven't heard back in 5 days.

My question: what is there on my side of things that could cause this? Waves got bitchy when I installed a new LAN card, and I had to recover those licenses, but the PA issue has been going on long before that.
