FL Studio: Quick Question: Channel Rack Volume = (Input) Gain?

hi guys, so i just did a quick test in Mixer channel 1 i got the same processed kick with Channel Rack Volume at 0dB and straight to the Fruity Distortion.



in Mixer Channel 2 i got the Channel Rack Volume at -5 dB and then go to the Fruity Balancer to Boost the Volume +5dB then to the fruity Distortion.



So soundwise i think these are identical. so it means

Channel Rack Volume = (Input) Gain -> Correct?

If they null then yes , if not then NO

The step sequencer channel volume is the input volume to what ever mixer Channel you send/route to any Vst insert will be post fader volume.
