Hello everyone
I'm brand new to making music on the computer, so may be missing something obvious.
I'm using Cubase to make my first ever computer track (which is also my first ever attempt at properly orchestrating something, so it's an adventure), but the track slows down for a couple of bars in the middle.
It may be because I slowed the tempo down a bit to record a tricky clarinet part and then I changed the tempo back to 105, which is still shows for the whole track, including the part that slows down. It must have somehow instructed Cubase to slow down those entire 2 bars for all instruments by a particular percentage, as when I speed the track up to 150 or 200, the bars in question remain a little slower than the rest, even though much faster than usual.
The rest of the track also fluctuates in tempo, but in a more subtle way.
I'm hoping there's a quick setting or something I can change so that it reverts to the standard project speed?????
I've uploaded short section of the track (link below) so you can see what I mean. It's the last 2 bars of this section that most noticeably slow down.

if you want one constant tempo for the whole track - open the tempo track and delete all the nodes on the tempo track envelope.
you must have recorded with the tempo track activated or something. my guess

Thanks - the problem is that it's actually showing as 105bpm right through and this is reflected on the main window and in the tempo indicator in the transport bar. It's just that the playback behaviour is different.

It seems to help when I just delete the clarinet track that I recorded at lower speed. So, I've just done that and will re-record it while the tempo setting is at 105bpm... Thanks for all your help.
