External SSDs Disconnecting When Opening Project (Studio One)

I am working on a particularly Kontakt-heavy project. Recently my external SSDs and audio device disconnect then reconnect when opening the project, resulting in errors.

What is the culprit behind this? All my USB hubs are powered.

There is a massive bug which crashes macs with Kontakt & second monitor on the mac laptops. You do not tell your enviroment at all. We can just guess at this stage.
