I'm looking for a vst that simulates Marvin Hank's guitar in the song The Shadows Apache.
I prefer the vst to be compatible with kontakt

I'm not sure about Marvin Hank,but Hank Marvin is still kicking ....

I see you've been round various forums asking since last year. You probably could have learned guitar in the meantime.

You want a Kontakt sample library (not a VST) of a Strat, clean, possibly a Vox or Fender amp sim and a tape delay plug-in effects, think he used a Watkins then an RE-201 later?

Orange Tree Samples have a good library. What's your budget? I'm not sure how well you can recreate Hank's use of the trem bar (wang arm) in any library though.

yamaha psr organs succeed in imitating the sound of the guitar, I believe it is possible to produce a plug-in that simulates Marvin Hank's guitar, there is probably no demand and therefore the companies are not working on the issue, I came up with an idea to record the yamaha psr, create wav files and build a new musical instrument in Kontakt.

You might get more help once you start saying his name correctly, Hank Marvin.

We've already got plugins that can reproduce it. Clean guitar of some sort (Im sure there's already tons of Kontakt instruments)-> some sort of model of an AC15/AC30 (again tons of them around), add your favorite tape delay plugin, maybe a little of the Vox's tremolo.

as his name is usually slang, for extreme hunger, im intrigued as to what this iteration may mean?

He lives in this city in Australia,so I could pop up and ask him what he thinks if you like...

My advice is whatever guitar you use to get that "Marvin Hank" sound,just make sure that it's red....
