Mac Sonoma 14.5 RC 5.2.3 Bitwig 5.2 VST3
On Windows, on the upper right of RC VST there is a keyboard that enables proper keyboard input to the RC VST.
On mac there is no such icon in RC VST.
The "Delete" key does not work on Mac.
Additionally, if you go to settings/Keyboard Shortcut to modify a key, and it does not recognize the Delete key, you cannot get out of the popup and you must select "Unassign Key".

There is no such 'keyboard' button on macOS because plug-in windows receive key-presses when active, unlike on Windows, so it is not needed. On Windows plug-ins do not receive key-presses, only if the host forwards them. E.g. REAPER has a setting for that. That is why the keyboard capture hack is needed o Windows only.
I find it probable that Bitwig captures the delete key somehow.
