Certainly looks/sounds like it... and would make sense for them to do.
Gonna be confusing when the Model 80 is not the CS80, but the Model 77-79 is instead...
(Wait, is the Model 77 the SY77, that's Yamaha too! Or maybe they'll do the Model 80, and the Model CS80! Isn't naming fun!

The CS-80 is a big ol' synth. I hope they let us hide the keyboard like they did with the Juno and Moog, but for some reason didn't with the Prophet or SH-101. At least it's guaranteed to sound good. Softube haven't missed the mark yet with any of their synth emulations in terms of sound, although they're inconsistent with their authentic limitations vs added extras.
Not sure if this looks very CS-80ish though. The CS-80 didn't have 8 numbered dials on it, unless this is just a fake GUI for the tease or they added extra controls.

That looks more like a Softube midi controller.

I thought it looked like a controller as well, but they have the hashtag #NewPluginAlert on the video.
I can't think of a synth with that interface on it.

Doesn’t load for me. I will try again later today.

That's a KORG Keystage. It uses polyphonic aftertouch, which would further hint at the product being a CS-80 emulation.Vortifex wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2024 3:14 pm The CS-80 is a big ol' synth. What's the whole map/globe thing about? I feel there should be some significance to that I'm missing...

Possibly:
From Wikipedia:
From Wikipedia:
Musically, the song took some time to assemble. Steve Porcaro, the band's synth player, introduced Paich to the Yamaha CS-80, a polyphonic analog synthesizer, and instructed him to write a song specifically with the keyboard in mind. Paich gravitated towards a brassy flute sound, which he found to be a unique alternative to the piano.
