Using HALion 7 effects with a live external audio input?

I like HALion's effects and want to send an audio track through them. I'd like to do this live (not by dropping a sample into the HALion's sampler), kind of how you can use Pigments as an insert effect. The 700 page HALion manual is not being helpful here. Is this possible?
