or at least have it go there first, and from that, the first track would be created with the generators, It’s less 'rapid' if I have to copy the chords there manually

question, Is it possible to set it up so that when importing(chord type), the part goes directly into the Master Voicing Editor rather than being placed as a chord generators in the first track,

I am not sure I am understanding what you want to know. Importing a midi file? Cause, when you do, it can set the chord progression from that. The master Voice editing is done with what you have as a progression already, you would not create that from there..
Just to be clear, imagine one person singing one note, a "voice" if you will.. Using the chord that is in the that position of the bar you are editing, you can turn on or off the notes present in just that chord (the "voices" that would sing that chord..) But, only for those notes that can be used to make that chord.. You could not add a new note here (a note not in the chord) .. that is..
That is what the voice editing is used for.. anyways..
