Hope you are all doing well.
I am a proud owner of a Peavey Musebox.
It works.
Once in a while (more frequently now) during Startup,
Problem Found Code (18, 12)
press to enter Diagnostics (or something like that)
after it finishes Booting Up and Loading the Application,
I am able to use it normally, MIDI through USB and load
a Preset, (Piano Lite) and play it normally.
I will have to check the other IO and see if that means
anything or not.
I recently copied the 3 Partitions of the internal Storage
System on Chip plugged into the SATA port of the Intel Atom
Motherboard.
I was able to use an External USB Drive with Linux GPARTED
to do the backup (incase I either try to upgrade the Internal
Storage, or if something bad should happen)
I know this Peavey Muse Box uses Linux Fedora 1.9 with
Wine to work with the various Plugins.
I would in the near future try to either Compact Flash
some VSTI dlls, or try and copy to the internal Storage
and see if the MusePlayer would try to find it, I know
some of the Plugins are under the .jxp extension (I do
not remember); however, would be nice to see if this would
play some different Plugins compatible with this System or
not.
For now, I did find some Error Codes on the sweetwater site,
however, nothing about Error Code Problem Found Code 18, 12
PS: also trying to find the root login and password to try
and work with what little updates I can find for the Fedora.
I know it is Login: MuseBox, but password: I do not know.
thought it was MUSE123 or something like that.
I also reached out to contact museresearch and I did get
a response back to my question of (why the MuseBox is no
longer being made or supported) they said, 2013, 2014 was
the last time and servers were no longer online.
Thank you all again.
Enjoy Peavey Musebox.

Wow. You've been a member since 2016 and THIS is your first post?
Sorry but the MuseBox is a piece of junk. I used to work for Peavey. It was a joke there. The product itself was discontinued not long after it's release and support was discontinued shortly thereafter. It was basically just a cut down even less powerful version of Muse Receptor which was also a dismal failure. A $20 used laptop running Windows 7 would do a better job running VST's.
It's 2024.....move on.
