Skip ahead in thread past the pre release speculation.

Previous pre release speculation:

Ableton Live had clip launching for playing live.
Ableton Push had pads to push to control Live.
Ableton Link let users link platforms.
Ableton Note was like a notepad for getting ideas down.
Ableotn Move will clearly be a disco ball for dancing.

What it most likely will be: a wheeled rack for Push so you can move it when vacuuming.

On the top menu of their site it's listed after Push and before Note...

Mobile hardware???

On the posters in the pic the "Move" looks like 8-bit Game Boy font.

I hope it is something cooler ... Than what I don't know lol ..... I'm enjoying my Launchpad X , I know it's NOT Push 3 , but it's more than enough for me . I wish it had MPE like Push 3 , but oh well . Maybe Ableton Move will be a mini Push with MPE similar to a Launchpad or something ?

Maybe a mini keyboard with some pads and knobs/sliders!

This makes me imagine something supremely portable, completely unintrusive, and part of the laptop. How about a typing keyboard overlay that provides velocity sensitivity? Or maybe a pad controller that's integrated into a laptop cover, similar to the Surface Music Kit?

Right on cue, saw someone playing a Game Boy Color on the train today.

I have to think it's a mobile music making device, maybe not full fledged Live DAW with all the bells and whistles, but definitely one integrated into Live i.e. having the ability to dump creations into Live.

Seems like there's a market for it. There's a few quality handheld devices out there, like the M8, and mini and mobile has a place. Like the Volcas or Roland's Aira Compact series.
