it sounds great, i was looking for a go to pitch shifter and i think i'll use this one. was wondering anyways why they didnt make this already. bit pricey as always though

I like Zynaptic stuff but even the early access price seems high for a pitch shifter. Should at least have a video to show what it can do.

agreed. overpriced !
....when it comes to algo 1,2,3,4,5.
But algo 6 ?
They can ask for that whatever they want.
the question is who would follow ? For sayed $169 ? I did !

i payed for Flux Trax €99, or €109 me thinks, on a sale ! OG price in $ right now: ~$479 ! double-
IMHO It outperforms this one for common pitchshifting. To my ears by far.
This one has only +- 12 semtones shift for the common PS modes.
Thats in my book not good enough for creative uses.
Despite the fact that Trax does sound better also on creative uses.
Plus, I get out a wider range of tones, and from there a higher jamm potential with Trax.
Testing this one, I was very happy at first.
Cause it was thru all modes .....no,....no,...can save me the $,....no,...no, happy camper......OMG !!...WTF!....... i NEED it !....asap.
check it out yourself.
i do realtime play performance patches.
No automation lanes in a DAW. Can´t comment vs. such.
latency is on both similar.
This one is around 85ms in mode 1,2....6.
The other three modes are higher. Up to somthing like 250ms.
Trax is similar !....but the latency depends on some min-max filter settings.
I can have it down to 85ms also. Most often between 90 and 105 ms. ...also up to 220ms*. * Quite common with trax if you don´t watch some settings.

i HAD to get it ( despite tha fact that i´m broke. i mean really broke......)
i bought it for mode 6 alone !
Which is sort of a resonator mode. Much likely a PS within a feedbacl loop. It´s donne stunningly good.
They BP filter the shit out of it i´d guess, then sent into some resonator patch.
I have much likely most, if not all, of similar resonator FX tools. I´ve never stumbled across anything comparable to this one, mode 6. It´s in its usefullness, musicality, how it adapts to the (my) incoming signal, and how much you can squeeze out of it by jamming with it (with two parameters) imho in it´s own ligue.
Not tested with drums or so. Only realtime play Piano/analog modelling synth (mixed on a crossfader).
Can´t judge vs. anything other than that.
For mode 6 alone ? yes, for me, well spent money.
For mode 1,2,3,4,5 ?.....nooo ! the price for that is in my opinion way overpriced, IF i consider for how much Flux Trax was going on that last sale, aynway. I mean, come on......

i´d watch the latency first !

Mode 6 is indeed cool but that sound can easily be achieved with a good vocoder, in fact Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder can replicate that sound easily. And only +/- 12 semitones for pitch shifting is indeed totally lame. I would have bought it for 50 bucks.
