Hello,
I'm trying to use the software synthesizer for Roland XV-5080 (screenshot attached) to run MIDI files through general MIDI mode (purpose is for 90s Sierra games with GM music). To my understanding, the physical module has a general MIDI mode per the manual, but the software manual has no such reference. There are tons of banks in the repository, unfortunately none of which are General MIDI.
I'm using a basic VST host (SAVIhost) to run the software synthesizer as a VST plugin and tried looking around in the settings to no avail.
Anyone able to direct me from here?

as you stated, the soft version has no GM mode. utter shame.

Is there perhaps some kind of downloadable GM preset file/bank that can configure it to run general MIDI or does that have to be configured at the software level (i.e. no hope)?
