Can I ask how you all control the clusterf* of cables? Pc power, screen power, usb for mouse, keyboard, usb hubs, synths, mixer, controllers, audio cables for everything...
There are more cables under my desk than dust.
And also something to keep audiocables separated from the usb cables since they hum if they touch each others.

Cable ties will do the job nicely ... you can find cheap re-usable velcro ties at most music gear stores.

For computer stuff, cable ties. Velcro strip can also be useful for pinning lightweight accessories where you want them.
For audio interface and synth gear... getting stuff into a 19" rack helps a lot! For mine I made multicore bundles of TRS cables at suitable length. 1U IEC power distributer is a lot tidier thanpower strips of regular plugs.

Little velcro strips for the really long cables. I also have a tray attached under the desk to hold power stuff and lift the thick cables off the ground. On the desk I just have the cables lined up to their respective devices and each cable has a separate velcro tag marking what it is. Not the most tidy, but it's decent

I just have desktop gear and yet I have at least 100 cables to manage.
I feel your pain.

I have three of these at the back of my desk. Cables sit nicely in them, along with power strips and power supplies. The cables are messy inside them, but at least they aren't trailing across the floor.

just gotta accept it and not let it stress you. I don't have ties because I change things now and then it's easier to just fish one out and make a spot for another. I'd rather cables though than wireless can have latency plus I don't trust the radiation or radio waves or whatever might be coming off of wireless stuff.
