Having never used Bitwig, I am curious how the cubase modulators fare in comparison.

Nice, does this apply to upgrades from earlier versions as well? And what about Nuendo? if I recall correctly, v13 was released about a year ago. Will the new features from the recent update be integrated directly into Nuendo?

I updated from 12, updates from older versions are more expensive, so I think they count as well if registered within the timeframe. After October 9th that is.

Cubase 13 came out last November, so I guess we're back to an annual paid update cycle again but with no ".5" updates.

At least the update looks pretty interesting. Cubase is already very capable when it comes to mixing, MIDI, arranging etc. so it makes sense that they would target "beatmakers" and try to take market share from the likes of Ableton, Bitwig and FL.

Great update! It is on my list.
only the modulators section worth it IMO. Let's hope the CPU usage has improved.
Using mainly Cubase 13, Live 12 Suite and Reason 13 on a PC/Win11 and Logic Pro on mini Mac/Sequoia.

One of the best upgrades in my opinion. 😍

as a general rule, once SB got rid of the NEK foolishness, Nuendo is always all of Cubase plus more stuff.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming :)
- We have updated key data structures in our code base to optimize memory allocation. This is positively impacting overall performance, especially in areas where large amounts of data are handled.

- As previously announced, Cubase 14 marks the end of official compatibility support for VST 2 plug-ins.

- Cubase 14 introduces two major changes affecting forward compatibility with older Cubase versions, meaning that not all previous versions will be able to open projects created in Cubase 14.

- We collaborated closely with the Bitwig team to integrate DAWproject support in Cubase.

Very decent update! Just what I was expecting from Presonus. But Presonus did not deliver. Just add more flexible FX routing for tracks (aka splitter in Studio One) and it is all I want from modern DAW.

I am very satisfied with this update. And I am not even a regular Cubase user, but I can become it in the future.
