Anyone know what hardware this new one is (likely) running on ? or the previous one ?

The previous Kastle range was running on a pair(!) of 8-pin ATtiny Arduino chips.
Bastl have code and schematics for the older Kastles on their Github, but nothing I can see for a Kastle2 yet.
