Arguments is a vintage-inspired test equipment plugin for tone generation and dual audio processing. Using math from analog nuclear research processors, it creates dynamic, unpredictable, and unique results. Operable as a test tone generator, distortion unit, or multimode filter, Arguments invites exploration, with presets as starting points for discovery.

Arguments is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP, 64-bit only), and also as AUv3 and Standalone on the App Store for iOS and iPadOS.

Details:
  • Intro Price: $/€ 39 (full $/€ 69)
  • Analog Modelled Oscillator
  • Sidechain or Generator Mode
  • 9 Arguments
  • 6 Functions
  • Multi-mode Filter
  • Oversampling
  • Graphic Controls

:hihi: in germany we all look like that.... :help:

but no, I was talking about the UI

Well if ever there was a plugin named with KVR in mind, "Arguments" must be it. I'll have to take a look when I'm off work, but all the transfer functions for the knobs reminds me of your Wave Box plugin.

It does sound nice and grungey

In Germany we don't like something that is connected to atomic stuff!

Without the fun of residual radiation from 50-year-old test equipment, I don't think I would be interested.
Really, I just want Heinbach's sweater collection...

Plugin idea:
Simulation of a Geiger counter turned into a drum machine.
Unreliable, spooky, nerdy.

Glad you like Arguments, everyone! Funny enough, we once considered making an April 1st plugin with impulse responses somehow derived from Hainbach's collection of sweaters... maybe one day! :)

I've sampled the sounds of the static electricity charge of wool socks and sweaters being pulled from the dryer. :tu:
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

A long time ago there was a kontakt library with a similar concept, it was really cool. Can't find it now.
Anyway, we have something I'd say close enough to this concept in the works :D
