Is anybody still able to use Battery 3? I can't get it to open in standalone or as a VST. Thanks!

I got it working on Windows 10.

I think I had followed these directions, downloading the images and updater:

If you're on mac, you're screwed. I've got it working on windows 11 with no problems.

NI says "is not supported on Mac OS X 10.10 or higher."

I recently did a new install of Windows 10. I could try it once again to see if it still works, or did you mean something else?

thx, i will get a new laptop with windows 11 to test out if my plugins work, if so i can upgrade to windows 11 some time. there i wanna see if i can still activate my battery 3 license on a new notebook

I've got it running on 2 win 10 systems. There are still a few NI things I can't get working. Battery seemed fine.

Thanks for the tips! I just had to download the update installer. Now I have 64 bit Battery 3. I remember buying this on eBay right before Battery 4 came out and never got around to getting it to work

Working on win 10, though not used much anymore.

It's quite annoying Battery 3 was better then Battery 4 in many ways. Not sure why they decided to simplify it. And such a shame they made Battery abandonware.

Just wish there was a good way to convert drum kits between different file formats... Or better better still an open format that could be used.

Lol. NI should be on Battery 15 now if they kept up, but only work on Massive for the most money possible. I'm not getting anything else from them.

Windows 11 Pro, Cubase 13 Pro - Battery 3 works perfectly fine and sounds as good as ever!
