Some VST3 Plugins are not recognized

Hi,

I have the problem that some VST3 plugins are not being detected by RapidComposer.

They are stored in the correct directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

But they are just not being detected.

The specific plugins are:

M-Tron Pro IV.vst3 (Mellotrone)
Pigments.vst3 (Synth by Arturia)

Any idea what could be the problem?

click the hamburger menu in the plugin settings page and see if they were black listed.. other than that, I will defer to Atilla for this one..

Hi Jens,

I downloaded the latest Pigments and I was able to add it manually to the list of plug-ins, and use it in RapidComposer.
Please send me the VST3ScanLog.txt file from C:\Users\Public\Documents\RapidComposerV5.
You may try adding these plug-ins manually to the list.

thanks for your answer. My installation seems to be a bit messed up.

I am using RC5.4.1, but I pointed all locations for compositions, custom phrases, custom rythm patterns and track templates to my old RC4 installation files: "\users\jens\OneDrive\Dokumente\RapidComposerV4\" ...

The file VST3ScanLog.txt at this location contains all vsts that are currently displayed in the Settings-Plug-ins interface, whose date is 15.05.2024. Since then I have added a few more VSTs such as Pigments.

There ist also a VST3ScanLog.txt file under C:\Users\Public\Documents\RapidComposerV5 but this file comprises only a few VSTs.

What could be the problem?
