How DAWS could use CPU neural cores

To be honest, I don't even know what they'd use these for as I've yet to find a any analysis that says more than "optimized for neural networks". Exactly how I've yet to discover. I'd suppose matrix routing but that's just a guess.

The question is, how could these be used for normal tasks and how DAWs could take advantage. Given that the vast majority of what's now billed as AI is just pattern recognition and machine learning, aka databases of patterns, I can think of some uses. But I'm more interested in not wasting any cores.

Any and all info or links appreciated.

Neural networks are basically big arrays of numbers. What you need to do for that is vast amounts of low precision multiplications in parallel, like what a GPU can do, but on steroids.
