Hi. I just bought a S88 MK3 and I have a usb-c port which I was using for other hardware so I bought a usb-c splitter as in 2 females outputting to 1 male which I plugged the S88 and my SSL stuff, but the S88 loses power and wants me to put another cable in?
How does it need more power it is already in a usb port?
The splitter description is
USB C to USB C Female Adapter USB Y Splitter Cable(NOT for monitor and Charging)USB C Male to 2USB-C Female Cord Converter,Dual Double USB C Port Hub USB C Split Adapter for Mac,,PS4,PS5,Laptop

I think you need a proper hub, not a simple splitter. It's suitable for lowest power devices only. Your keyboard definitely needs more.
One random review of your splitter on Amazon says:
> It can connect data only.
> Two usbc data sticks will connect, but no charging at all.
So the splitter refuses to deliver the required juice to your keyboard.

Ah makes sense I guess. I'm already using a ton of plug sockets. Annoying, thanks.BertKoor wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 7:11 pm I think you need a proper hub, not a simple splitter. It's suitable for lowest power devices only. Your keyboard definitely needs more.

I said just hub. Not powered hub.
Something with a bit more intelligence to deal with power requirements of devices. Because the pc can deliver, without doubt.
