Been using this for the last few weeks. It’s phenomenal. I own a P10 Rev 4 and the Cherry Audio P-10 easily gets close enough - so much so that I’m probably going to sell the hardware.
The only two downsides that I’d like to see addressed:
- Being able to link controls so you can control both layers simultaneously.
- questioning where some of my favourite Rev 4 presets are in the plugin’s presets. Specifically 111 and 113 from the Rev 4. I’ve contacted cherry audio and they’re looking into it (the plugin’s “stock” presets are based on the Rev 3 apparently).

What alternatives do we have ?
Arturia? I think to emulate old synths is not Arturia's strenght. I have 3 Arturia synths, they just don't get any use. Arturia used to offer a good free plugin every year, though. Did they forget last year?
Softube. Softube plugins generally are not my cup of tea?.But that's just me. Prefer Waves and Sonnox over Softube and Softube synths, there is something about the playability and response I just don't like. A bike with a broken pedal is no fun to ride.
Uhe Repro. Don't like their emu.
So it was easy for Cherry to offer the best emulation.

Acustica Audio XP5, has a demo. UVI PX P-10, doesn't have a demo. So, depends how you feel about Falcon / UVI Workstation stuff.

Don't sell the hardware bro. The XP5 comes extremely close to the real deal
I have only a prophet 6 but the XP5 sounds much better than Repro-5, Arturia and Softube
All these emulations sound much better than the Cherry Audio P10
