Preamps SSL PureDrive vs Neve vs Grace Design - any comments?

Looking at some alternatives from Neve 1073OPX+ADAT and Grace Design M108 ending up at $4000 with 8 channels and up I found this from SSL 4 channels and around $1100 or so

Can be used as audio interface, but then one wonder about drivers and latency and such.
- but works as standalone ADAT unit as well

They have some ingenious analog circuitry to select various modes to add harnonics in certain ways.

First I saw this will all be digital processing, but checked and described as pure analog path. They also do full consoles based on these preamps.

So comparison of preamp quality obviously come to mind.

Any ideas or experience with these SSL?

EDIT: got the SSL and this was a really good investment for sure. Better definition and clarity and never knew my REV2 had that deep bass. Many clever options and more affordable if you can make do with 4 preamps. Good manual with some nice tips too.
