The excellent free Waves StudioVerse allows any VST3 plugin to be used as multiband, parallel, and way more.

Yes, Syndicate is currently the secret weapon for frequency focussed fx, and for macro modulation aswell.

Cubase has a stock plugin called Imager, which is multiband. Pretty good that one.
The loudness war is over, loudness has won

It's worth pointing out that the White Elephant one is not phase neutral and alters the sonics somewhat (versus only adjusting the width of the chosen frequencies).

Can you explain further what you mean by "versus" only adjusting the width of the chosen frequencies? Because that is the only thing the White Elephant MONSTR does: adjusting the width of preferred frequencies.

It also (inadvertently) alters the phase of each band as the filters being used to separate the bands are not linear phase or phase neutral.

Hmm, yes you are right. But it's also rare to find a linear phase multiband stereo imager on the free market. Even among commercial ones I'm not aware of ones which doesn't affect the phase. I exclusively use this plugin on individual tracks so I'm content with it. Moreover, it's great that it's opensource, so people can contribute to make the filters linear phase.

I believe the iZotope one is phase neutral. It's the one from their Ozone plugin.
