Manual says you get a download link after purchase...so probably not.

That's unfortunate; it looks like more of a gimmick but it could be useful. I will never know!

There are also LOTS of live streams on YouTube (100+), showing Mario using the tool (and Chord Generator), in case that’s helpful in making a decision.

It is useful but I actually like the Chord Generator more. It is a lot of fun using them together.
