i drop in Documents/ as Bitwig projects ?
i'm using pCloud, and iCloud too.

iCloud is for life photos. if i put folders in documents/, my icloud will be overloaded ?

If you haven't paid extra for storage, you have 5GB. iCloud is more than just Photos Library. I use it for redundancy for my videos, it's all in iPhoto. I don't get why organizing in iPhoto is inferior to having directories for Documents, Downloads etc in "iCloud Drive" unless it's for mirroring what's local on the device.
additionally there is "Optimize Mac Storage" which means with a Wifi connection present a video will run but it won't be the full resolution, which you'd have to go to the web browser iCloud for. I'm using 60 some GB in Photos, with Photos Library only using half a gig locally. I don't keep media on the system drive at all, save for mp3s I neglected to delete in "Music".
